When the pandemic hit in early 2020, making weird songs was the only way I knew how to cope.

In retrospect, these songs feel like a bookend to my years in the Pacific Northwest. I can still feel the cold on my hands, sitting on the banks of the Willamette reading Orwell’s 1984.

I remember the days blurring together, the hopelessness, the isolation, the dreary Portland skies, the pot shop walkup window, & the masked faces in all places.
